Research

Research summary

I am currently working on several projects to investigate how personal decision-making is related to individual differences in self-compassion. All of these projects build upon our current understanding of how self-compassion relates to mental processing of past failures and mistakes. We are trying to pivot toward a new understanding of how self-compassion relates to mental processing of the future – i.e., the prospects of gains and losses that have not happened yet.
