Niki Saghari is an Iranian multidisciplinary artist currently based in Canada. Her work encompasses photography, performance, video, sound, and installations. She aims to draw attention to the seemingly mundane aspects of daily life and transform them into works that challenge our preconceptions. Through her art, she explores the complexities of human relationships and identity, as well as the passage of time and the impermanence of all things. By revealing the unconscious and exposing our shared experiences, Saghari aims to promote empathy and understanding between people from different cultures and backgrounds. Ultimately, her goal is to create a sense of interconnectedness amongst all human beings.

Prior to immigrating to Canada, Niki attended Tehran University of Art and received her bachelors in photography. Following her graduation, she participated in group shows at Silk Road Gallery and Negrakhane Honar in Tehran. She also performed in Molavi Hall in Tehran, La Nef in Paris and International Theatre Festival, Olympia in Dion, in Greece. Living in Winnipeg since 2021, Saghari is currently in the Master of Fine Art program at the University of Manitoba.
