Mindfulness Practice Thursdays
This is a free online drop-in session open to students, staff and alumni of FAUM from March 4th  – April 15th, 2021.

Each session will include an introduction of a mindfulness practice, a guided mindfulness meditation, and may include an opportunity for reflection and discussion.

No previous experience in meditation or mindfulness practice is necessary. All that is needed is a desire to be more centered and present, and a willingness to share an online space with others taking a mindful pause together.

When: Thursdays from 12:05 – 12:30
March 4, March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15

Before each session:  give yourself 10 minutes to get settled in a comfortable quiet space, set aside any devices you won’t be using during the session, and turn off notifications.

Join the session:
Click on the link and select the "Join Zoom session now" button between 12 and 12:05. The session will begin promptly at 12:05 and the room will locked at 12:10 to hold the group’s quiet space without interruption. 

Facilitator:
Irene Friesen-Hughes is an executive coach who has been practicing mindfulness meditation for a long time. She has been facilitating mindfulness sessions with an online meditation community for the last year.
