Please join us for the C.A.S.T. Building Arts Symposium (BAS).  BAS is a one-day celebration of both traditional masonic art and cutting-edge research in masonry construction techniques and technologies, organized in association with C.A.S.T. industry sponsor MMI. Together with hands-on bricklaying demonstrations provided by invited master masons, the symposium will feature brief presentations by industry representatives, students, architects, and invited researchers from around the world.  The symposium aims to assemble diverse perspectives and encourage discussion and communication among all symposium invitees and attendees to deliberate on the prospects of future masonry practices within our profession. The event will foster opportunities for introductions and future collaborations among industry professionals, students, and researchers, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
