Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 20 years. Working with 70 universities, 6,000 companies, and both federal and provincial governments, Mitacs builds partnerships that support industrial and social innovation in Canada.

This information session is intended for Faculty of Architecture researchers and potential external partners. The presentation by two Mitacs Business Development Directors will provide an overview of Mitacs programs and funding models, including the Accelerate, Elevate, Globalink and Business Strategy Internship programs.

Dr. Sarah Cooper will also share her experience in leading a recent Mitacs Accelerate collaboration with the West Broadway Community Organization on Policy and Planning for Single Room Occupancy Housing.
