Geopolymer Cement Workshop
The workshop is a geopolymer cement primer, examining the ‘culture of concrete’ in the context of an industry that must rapidly decarbonize. An ecologically friendly alternative Portland cement, Geopolymer is often made from industrial waste materials. Participants will create basic molds and have the opportunity to create geopolymer cement mixes using recycled aggregate and pigment. Symbolic of earthy friendly transformation, the focus is on a sculptural approach with this alternative material.
