We know that supporting students' health and wellbeing contributes significantly to academic success.

What to Expect

The Student Wellness Centre will be open on a drop-in basis and will provide an opportunity for students with an interest in health and wellness to connect with each other. Health and wellness professionals and trained peer educators will be available for consultation and support (on a drop in and appointment basis) and the space will also host health and wellness preventive and promotional initiatives.

Students are invited to visit the lounge area to rest, recharge, connect, and learn.

Take Home Naloxone program

The University of Manitoba is registered as a distribution site for the Take Home Naloxone program. UM is able to provide naloxone kits to members of the UM community who are at risk or may observe someone at risk of an opioid poisoning. For more information on how to obtain training and/or a naloxone kit, please contact UM’s Student Wellness at healthandwellness@umanitoba.ca .
