Background

Kathy is a retired SJC Fellow and Senior Scholar with the Department of Religion. From 2008 to 2023, she was an Instructor with the Academic Learning Centre where she coordinated the Writing Tutor Program. Before that, Kathy was the Director of the English Language Program and the ESL Teacher Certificate Program at The University of Winnipeg (2001 to 2008). Her areas of interest are writing (personal and academic), writing pedagogy, assignment design, and program and curriculum development.
