Description: This course introduces the foundational understandings of Metis culture intertwined with Indigenous and Christian spiritual traditions in the Homeland of the Red River Metis Nation. Metis Matriarchs reclaim the kinship principles of women’s leadership roles in their homes, communities and lands. The diversity, complexity, and vitality of these traditions are a gift from God our Creator.
