Are you currently a full-time student?*
  • Each U of M Resident is required to become a member of St John's College. A fee of $10 per term is added to your tuition. See membership information here (opens in a new tab) on how to register as a member of St John's College.
  • ICM Students become Associate Members upon confirmation of their application for Residence.
  • MITACS Interns and Visiting Scholars are charged the $10 per term fee on their invoice.

Payment Information

Applications will only be processed once payment of the $30.00 application fee has been received.

You will be notified of your acceptance via e-mail as soon as possible. All correspondence will be sent to the e-mail address provided.

Next Steps:
  1. You will be notified via e-mail that a room is available for you and that a non-refundable deposit (Summer: $500 / Academic Year: $1000)  is due before we can confirm and guarantee your room. The Summer deposit is applied to your last month's room and board. Academic year deposits are applied to second term fees (U of M students) or the annual payment (ICM students)
  2. You will be provided with the Residence Contract for review and signature.
  3. You will be provided with an official written confirmation of your Residence reservation.
