Statistics Help Centre
The Statistics Help Centre is a resource available for statistics students to get help with general questions or concepts in statistics courses. The centre is run by graduate students and senior undergraduate students in statistics that are available to help.
Hours and location
We are open to any and all students seeking help with a course in the department of statistics. No appointment is necessary! Check your course syllabus for Zoom links to the online Help Centre offers.
Hours (January 6, 2026, until the end of Winter Term)
No appointments are necessary.
- Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. via Zoom.
Beginning April 10th, the Help Centre will only be open Monday to Friday,10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Help Centre will remain open at these hours until the date of the last STAT 1000, 1150, or 2000 exam.
The Statistics Help Centre is closed during holidays and the winter break.
Location
The Statistics Help Centre is located in room 107, Allen Building.
Help Centre rules
- No printing.
- No food or drink.
- Computers are for statistics students and work only. (No Facebook, email, and others)
- Please turn your cell phones off or silent.
