Early childhood group music lessons

Register your toddler to six-year-old in one of our early childhood music classes to help them discover the world of music, experiment with rhythm and melody, and have a lot of fun!

    Toddlers Make Music

    In Toddlers Make Music, young children (18-36 months) discover the world of music through singing, dancing, clapping games, and playing musical instruments. Caregivers are welcome to play along with their child and discover the joy of making music together.

    Music for 3’s and 4’s

    In Music for 3’s and 4’s children will experiment with rhythm, melody and movement as they learn about music through playful group activities. Nursery rhymes and other simple songs will be incorporated into each lesson.

    Music for 5’s and 6’s

    In Music for 5’s and 6’s children will have fun with improvisation and composition in a supportive, participatory environment. Children will be encouraged to create simple melodies and rhythms as they explore dynamics, tempo and other musical ideas.

Early Childhood classes will not be offered during the 2024 - 2025 program year.  

(ages 8 - 12) Musical theatre

Students will sing, dance, act, and most importantly, have fun in a creative and supportive environment that encourages exploration and imagination. Students will develop skills in stage movement, choreography, characterization, singing, harmonization, and more.

  • The classes are scheduled for Monday evenings in the new choral/musical theatre room located in the addition to the Taché building.

    Class activities include:

    • Vocal warm-up
    • Improvisation
    • Ensemble work
    • Choreography
    • Acting and movement games and exercises
  • A group of three musical theatre participants sing and act together.
  • Fall session

  • Winter session
