Open journal publishing
An open access journal is an online, peer-reviewed academic journal that provides users free, unrestricted access to download, read and distribute its content. A non-commercial, non-profit journal that meets high quality open criteria is known as a "diamond" journal.
UM Libraries supports the University of Manitoba community in establishing diamond journals for its own academic expression, using the software platform Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Consult our resources, arrange a consultation to learn what setting up a journal entails, or submit a proposal.
