    Our residences and all university offices will be closed for the holiday break from December 21, 2024, to January 1, 2025.

    For a smoother move-in experience, we recommend planning your arrival for after January 2nd. If you are a new student needing to arrive before January 2nd or after 9:00 pm, we suggest exploring nearby accommodations. Please reach out to our residence office for information on preferred rates at our partner hotel.

Your UM ID card is required to access your Residence Meal Plan. We strongly suggest getting your ID card as soon as possible.

To produce your ID Card, they require the following documents:

  • Copy of your Government-issued Photo ID
  • Study Permit (International students only)

Here are some suggestions of items you may wish to consider bringing with you:

  • Consider greening your shopping list by purchasing eco-conscious products. 
  • Reduce waste by using reusable or second hand items whenever possible.
  • If you are required to self-isolate, please ensure you have the proper equipment such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a universal travel adapter.
  • Linen and pillows are not provided.  You can pre-order through Campus Linen at https://campuslinenscanada.com/
