    Location : Come to the Pembina Hall Student Lounge at 26 Maclean Crescent to check in

    Evening Check-In
    4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    Come to the Arthur V. Mauro Student Residence at 120 Dafoe Road to check in

    University College Residence
    Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
    Location: Come to University College Residence at 220 Dysart Road to check in

    New Resident Orientation and Parent Breakfast/Orientation

    Meet the people and staff in your community and learn about residence life, community standards, upcoming programs, opportunities, activities and supports.

    New Resident Orientation 
    Required attendance for all new residents.
    10 a.m. – Noon
    MPR - University Centre

    Parents and residents are invited to join us for breakfast and Orientation at the Fresh Food Company .

ID Cards & Peggo Cards

Your UM ID card is required to access your Residence Meal Plan. We strongly suggest getting your ID card as soon as possible.

Your UM ID card is required to access your Residence Meal Plan. We strongly suggest getting your ID card as soon as possible. 

Registrars Office ID Centre 

Location: 400 UMSU, University Centre

Hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm , Monday to Friday 
 

To produce your ID Card, they require the following documents:

  • Copy of your Government-issued Photo ID
  • Study Permit (International students only)

What to Bring?

Packing for residence life

Here are some suggestions of items you may wish to consider bringing with you:

  • Consider greening your shopping list by purchasing eco-conscious products. 
  • Reduce waste by using reusable or second hand items whenever possible.
  • If you are required to self-isolate, please ensure you have the proper equipment such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a universal travel adapter.
  • Linen and pillows are not provided.  You can pre-order through Campus Linen at https://campuslinenscanada.com/

All hot plates and cooking devices that are open-coiled, open flame, gas-based or are for the purpose of deep frying, are strictly prohibited in all residence buildings.

  • Please remember your insurance information including ID’s, medical information and important documents.
