Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- explain the role and responsibilities of the Council and Chief Administration Officer in municipal governance
- use the relevant legislative requirements to conduct a Manitoba municipal election
- create municipal policies and records by applying proper requirements and best practices
- demonstrate compliance with established municipal administration processes, such as office procedures, taxation, assessment, and various levies
- reflect on the positive outcomes of creating peer networks to support future professional practices
