    Upon return from the conference, submit a Travel Expense Claim Form.

Step 1 Review

Review eligibility for this funding

  • Applicant must be presenting a paper/poster relevant to their program of study
  • Students may not receive funding more than once at a Master's level and twice at the Ph.D. level
  • Must be a registered Graduate student within the Price Faculty of Engineering

 

STEP 2 Prepare

Prepare documents before application

Remember to keep or scan ALL original receipts related to registration, travel, accommodation, and meal expenses incurred while going-to, at, and departing from the conference.  These will be needed for your final Travel Expense Claim upon return from the conference.

 

STEP 3 Apply

Submit application

The Price Faculty of Engineering - Student Travel Funding Application PDF form must be submitted through email to Leah.Phillips@umanitoba.ca in the Civil Engineering general office, who will review before processing.

If you are applying for more than one Graduate Student Travel Award (e.g. Price Faculty of Engineering Student Travel Award, Civil Engineering Department Student Travel Award, FGS Travel Award, etc.), please include all application forms in one email to Leah Phillips.

STEP 4 Follow-Up

Submit any remaining documentation following the conference

If your application for Price Faculty of Engineering - Graduate Travel Funding Award is successful, a Travel Expense Claim Form must be submitted within 30 days after you've returned from the conference.

Please submit completed Travel Claim Form and copies of all receipts to Leah.Phillips@umanitoba.ca
