Vines and Borderlines presents vignettes of utopia and dystopia, exploring themes of security and threat, banality and spectacle, and the borders that define and permeate our worlds. The narrative yet fragmentary artworks encourage reflection on space and world-making.

The exhibition features works from the School of Art Permanent Collection by Libby Hague, Glenn Lewis, David McMillan, and Andrew Valko.

About the Curator: Hannah Keating graduated in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Art History from Carleton University. Recipient of the Dr. Shirley L. Thompson Award for Young Curators, she completed an internship at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
