In 1992, the artist donated 44 drawings to Gallery 111, created over five months from April to August 1992. These works served as the foundation of the exhibition, which expanded into a more comprehensive retrospective in consultation with the artist.
Coinciding with Professor Eyre's nomination for Emeritus status, presented at the University of Manitoba’s Convocation '94, this exhibition reflects on Eyre's 30-year teaching career. Spanning from the beginning of his teaching to the present, the show offers a broad view of his artistic evolution.
