Caroline Dukes: Being There

Across diverse media, Caroline Dukes explored themes of presence and absence, memory and belonging, loss and resilience. Her monumental artworks command attention and invite participation, offering contemplative and intellectually rigorous experiences.

Caroline Dukes: Being There showcases a selection of works in charcoal, acrylic, and cast stone from the School of Art collection. This exhibition provides students, faculty, and the public with the opportunity to experience Dukes’ impressive and ambitious output, including works never previously exhibited. Serene, refreshing, and bold, Dukes’ art celebrates the depth and scope of this prominent Winnipeg artist.
