Research

Research Interests

My research focuses on the application of data analytics, including machine learning and deep learning algorithms, to support decision-making processes on farms and improve animal welfare. My goal is to align these technological innovations with practical applications, resulting in tangible improvements in livestock production systems. This includes:

  • Developing models to accurately predict livestock bio-responses, such as animal performance and behaviour
  • Integrating data from multiple types/sources (i.e., multimodal) to study complex patterns within livestock systems
  • Enhancing dairy cow longevity and productivity through optimized, data-driven management practices
