The Sustainability Ambassador Program is a volunteer leadership program for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in promoting a culture of sustainability at UM through growth, education, research and action.
As a Sustainability Ambassador, you will lead and inspire the campus community to learn more about sustainability and explore how sustainability practices can change lives in a positive way.

There are a wide range of active groups on campus working on social, environmental or economic sustainability issues or sustainable development. Many have volunteer or membership opportunities, and we invite you to check them out.

The UM Sustainability Awards recognize and celebrate the collaborative efforts of students, staff and faculty to advance our campus commitment to excellence and leadership in sustainability.

If you know of an individual or group demonstrating leadership, creativity and dedication to sustainability on campus, nominate them for a 2021 UM Sustainability Award in the categories listed below.
Deadline for nominations: Tuesday, February 16, 2021
Nominations will be reviewed and the award recipients will be selected by the UM Sustainability Committee.
The winners for the 2021 Campus Sustainability Awards will be announced at Sustainability Day on March 4, 2021.
