Speaker: Dr. Jane Barter

Jane Barter (she/her) is a Professor of Religion and Culture at the University of Winnipeg. She holds a PhD in Theology from the University of St. Michael’s College (University of Toronto). Barter is author of two monographs in theology and is currently writing a third (Routledge) titled, “Theopolitics and the Era of the Witness.” Together with her research partner, Dr. Doris Kieser, St. Joseph’s College, University of Alberta, Barter has published a symposium on the papal apologies and visit with the Journal of Moral Theology. Kieser and Barter are also preparing a collection of essays on the theme for a book project.
