Tuition rates per credit hour

Most undergraduate tuition fees at UM are applied per credit hour based on the teaching unit (home program or faculty) of each course. To calculate your base tuition, multiply the per-credit-hour rate for each teaching unit by the number of credit hours you are registered for in each unit. Then, add any distance or online surcharges that may apply.

For example, if you are working towards a Bachelor of Science degree, your courses within the Faculty of Science will be assessed at $153.42 per credit hour, while any electives you take in the Faculty of Arts will be assessed at $131.82 per credit hour. Likewise, if you are a University 1 student taking courses within several different faculties, your tuition may be assessed at a different rate for each course.
