Tom is an assistant professor and the associate head, research and academic affairs in the UM department of anesthesiology, perioperative and pain medicine. He has prior experience as the medical manager of quality assurance for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority’s anesthesia program and as an editorial board member for the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia. He was born, raised and trained in Winnipeg and continues to live there with his family. His broad clinical practice includes adult non-cardiac anesthesia and obstetrical anesthesia at the Health Sciences Centre and ambulatory anesthesia at the Pan Am Clinic.
