Dr. Tara Stewart's research uses mixed methods to evaluate healthcare services, programs, systems and policies. Particular areas of evaluative expertise include community mental health, the continuum of care for older adults, and patient flow in acute care settings.

Biography

Brief bio

Dr. Tara Stewart is an assistant professor in community health sciences at the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba. Her postdoctoral experience includes a two-year SSHRC-funded fellowship in Health Psychology (University of Manitoba) and a CIHR-funded postdoctoral fellowship (School of Public Health, Yale University). 

Tara worked as an assistant professor in the department of psychology at Idaho State University prior to returning to Winnipeg to join the George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation and the department of community health sciences. Dr. Stewart specializes in applied research and evaluation science in healthcare settings.
