Dr. Webar focuses his research on interventional pain management, including anatomical and cadaveric research assessing genicular nerve blocks as well as clinical research for chemical neurolysis and ultrasound guided radiofrequency ablation.

Biography

Dr. Javier Webar did undergrad and residency in his home country of Chile, coming to Canada to obtain subspecialty training in both regional anesthesia and pain medicine, receiving a staff appointing at the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the University of Manitoba. He currently holds the position of program director for the Interventional Chronic Pain Fellowship.
