Dr. Hebert’s research mainly focuses on the treatment of anxiety disorders and the cognitive mechanisms underlying these disorders, including intolerance of uncertainty.
She has developed and is investigating a cognitive-behavioural treatment protocol for generalized anxiety disorder that focuses on behavioural experiments for intolerance of uncertainty.
Her research has been published in leading specialty journals.
Dr. Elizabeth Hebert is an assistant professor in clinical health psychology at the University of Manitoba and is a registered psychologist.
