Research summary
Dr. Christian Petropolis focuses his research on medical modelling, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, surgical education and simulation, and medical device development.
Research interests
Dr. Christian Petropolis earned his medical degree from Dalhousie University and completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Manitoba. He further pursued a fellowship in adult craniomaxillofacial surgery at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre before returning to Manitoba to practice. Dr. Petropolis specializes in trauma reconstruction, cutaneous oncology, and head and neck reconstruction. He serves as the program director for the plastic surgery residency program, demonstrating a keen interest in medical education and surgical simulation. .
