Over the past several years, Dr. Sabourin has been involved in research developing and evaluating novel and more accessible psychological treatments for chronic pain. These include web-based treatments, video-conference-based group treatments and brief workshops.
Dr. Brigitte Sabourin is an assistant professor in clinical health psychology at the University of Manitoba.
During her time with the university she has provided individual and group-based psychological treatments for adults living with chronic pain, has been involved in teaching and supervision activities both at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, and has served on master’s theses and doctoral dissertation committees.
