Dr. Michael Salman is a clinician investigator at the Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) with a focus on neuro-ophthalmological diseases and cerebellar disorders in children. His research themes include cerebellar malformations, ataxic disorders, optic nerve hypoplasia, and eye movement abnormalities in children. Biography

Dr. Michael Salman is a highly accomplished pediatric neurologist and neuro-ophthalmologist with a wealth of education and experience in the field. He obtained his medical degree from the University of London in the UK and completed his training in pediatrics and pediatric neurology in the UK. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric neurology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Toronto Western Hospital/University Health Network. He also completed a clinician-scientist/PhD program at the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto. He currently works in Winnipeg.

Dr. Salman's education includes a PhD from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science from University of London, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from University of London and Bachelor of Science from University of London. He is an expert in his field, and his research in cerebellar disorders and neuro-ophthalmological diseases in children aims to improve the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions in children. He is dedicated to advancing the field of pediatric neurology and neuro-ophthalmology.
