
Residency details
A unique opportunity
Generally, one resident is accepted into the program every three years. The program meets the training requirements necessary to sit for the certification examinations offered by the Canadian College of Microbiologists.
Diverse training experience
Train in the microbiology laboratories of the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface Hospital, Cadham Provincial Laboratory and the National Microbiology Laboratory.
Clinical and academic exposure
Explore didactic lectures, seminars, rounds and clinical research.

Admission and application requirements
The next residency in Clinical Microbiology will be announced in the summer/fall of 2024.
