Getting started

IST does not assist with moving printers. To request moving a printer, you may submit a maintenance request with UM facilities.

Create an IT ticket to request assistance with setting up a printer. Someone from the IST Service Desk will contact you to ask for more information and assist you.

Please provide the following information in your ticket:

  • Printer name (For example, office-123)
  • Printer manufacturer (For example, HP)
  • Printer model (For example, HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer)
  • Building name (For example, Fletcher Argue)
  • Location/Room (For example, 123)
  • IP address if known
