Getting started
If a printer needs to be moved, use the following steps:
- Complete the Print Device Relocation form: Printing Device Request for Relocation form (docx)
- Submit the form to ccc@wbm.ca with the subject: University of Manitoba – Print Device Relocation
- WBM will email you a formal quote.
- Create a Purchase Requisition in EPIC and attach quote.
- A WBM Customer Success agent will contact the requestor to schedule a date and time for the move. Note: The University IT will need to confirm with that power, LAN, FAX are in place at the new location, prior to moving the device.
- On arrival, the WBM technician will remove the print device from the current location and place it in the new location. University IT will be contacted for network setup, driver refresh, and any hostname changes (where necessary).
