Antivirus configuration support

The University of Manitoba offers antivirus support to help protect your computer and data from viruses and malware. Staff and faculty are provided with licensed antivirus software. Students may receive consultation and assistance. You can request help with the configuration of antivirus software or with security console tasks, including client policies, virus scan tasks, reports and other custom configuration needs.

Getting started

Create an IT ticket to request assistance with antivirus software or security tasks. Someone from the IST Service Desk will contact you to ask for more information and assist you.
