The Farm and Food Discovery Centre welcomes all families to discover the importance of agriculture and explore where food comes from. The centre features interactive displays and windows into a live pig barn to provide visitors with a thorough background on Manitoba's agricultural production practices.

The Farm and Food Discovery Centre welcomes all families to discover the importance of agriculture and explore where food comes from. The centre features interactive displays and windows into a live pig barn to provide visitors with a thorough background on Manitoba's agricultural production practices.

Group visits

Guests can visit the Farm and Food Discovery Centre for a unique and most importantly fun learning experience. Grab your crew and book a visit to for a guided tour of the Discovery Centre including a view into the hog barn, add on an optional dairy barn tour including a tractor & wagon ride (weather permitting), and enjoy some free time to play with our interactive exhibits. 

Guided tours can be booked for groups of 10 or more individuals. 

Birthday parties

The Bruce D. Campbell Farm and Food Discovery Centre is a unique and fun place to host your child's birthday party! During your child's party, guests will take a tour of the Discovery Centre including a look into the hog barn to see and learn about pigs, tour the state-of-the-art dairy barn to see and learn about cows, AND top it off by making and eating homemade ice cream! Plus you get exclusive access to our Discovery Room to decorate, serve lunch/snacks and open gifts.
