Experiential Learning Community of Practice

A space for dialogue, learning, collaboration, resource sharing and innovation on various aspects of experiential learning.

The Experiential Learning Community of Practice (CoP) brings together faculty members, instructors and staff from across UM who are involved in the development and delivery of experiential learning opportunities for students. 

  • Join our monthly online meetings to build community and explore current trends in experiential learning.
  • Stay up-to-date on events, opportunities and news related to experiential learning at the UM. 
  • Connect with other members and exchange resources through discussion boards and channels in our Teams.

Monthly sessions

Join our monthly sessions to explore current topics in experiential learning and connect with other EL practitioners at UM.

January 31/ 2:30-3:30pm: Why experiential learning now? (online). 

February 28 / 2:30-3:30pm: Future-proofing students in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world (online).

March 27 / 12:00-1:00pm: Experiential Learning Townhall (in-person)

April 24 / 2:30-3:30pm: Bringing work-integrated learning into the classroom (online).
