Who Are We
The chaplains at the university work cooperatively through the University of Manitoba Chaplains' Association. Each chaplain is an ordained or appointed professional in recognized religious bodies of Canada who have been called or assigned to work at the University of Manitoba in order to provide a ministry to the university.
What We Do
We offer a variety of services that are open to the entire university community.
Each chaplain is also involved with his or her own denominational community offering worship opportunities, student activities, personal support, and programs that are reflective of their tradition.
Above all, we endeavour to present others at the university by meeting them in the ordinary course of their campus activities, encouraging them in their academic life, helping them to understand and value their spiritual dimension, and supporting them in their personal, religious, and social struggles… Don’t' be surprised when you run into us in the cafeterias, lounges, and wherever people gather on campus.
Thank you for making Peanut Butter & Jam Day a success!
Thanks to students, staff, faculty and companies that donated their time and products that helped out on March 7, 2012. We made 2,400+ sandwiches in 4 hours. In the 13 years we have been doing this we have now made a total of 29,825 sandwiches, that's a lot of peanut butter and jam! See you next year!
