Vahid Askarpour is a Ph.D. student of Anthropology at the University of Manitoba. Vahid completed his former Ph.D. at the University of Tehran in prehistoric archaeology. He also completed his graduate and undergraduate degree in archaeology at the University of Tehran. His main interests in anthropology and material culture studies include focusing on different aspects of cognitive approaches, where he wrote and translated several basic books and papers in Persian. He currently pursues biological studies in anthropology and archaeology, both in theory and practice.
