Dr. Xiao-Qing Liu, MD, MSc, is an assistant professor at the Max Rady College of Medicine, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences. His research focuses on applying epidemiological and biostatistical methods to gene mapping of monogenic and complex human traits/disorders.
Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba:
Dr. Liu holds a master of science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a master of science from Peking Union Medical College. He earned his bachelor of medicine from the Medical College of Jiamusi University. Dr. Liu's current research focuses on gene mapping for autism and autism-related quantitative traits, utilizing multi-omic data from twins and provincial data repositories.
