Biography

Dr. Sandor Demeter is an associate professor in community health sciences at the University of Manitoba.

Dr. Sandor’s career includes a decade in public health and two decades in clinical nuclear medicine.

He has held several senior medical and academic administrative positions and is currently a staff nuclear medicine physician with Shared Health.

He is a former commission member of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), a former committee member with the ICRP‒International Commission on Radiological Protection (Protection in Medicine Committee) and a member of CADTH’s Health Technology Expert Review Panel.
