Biography

Dr. Paul Kerr is a professor of otolaryngology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Kerr is an accomplished researcher:

First to demonstrate OSAS induced reflux is reduced by CPAP: Kerr P, Shoenut JP, Millar T, Buckle P, Kryger MH:

  • Nasal CPAP reduces gastroesophageal reflux in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. CHEST 101(6): 1539-¬1544, 1992 (179 citations)

Amongst the first (*PI and resident supervisor), and most cited publications on utility of 1-hour post-thyroidectomy PTH level as clinically useful predictor of surgically induced hypoparathyroidism:
