Brief bio

Dr. Michael Mowat is a professor emeritus in biochemistry and medical genetics at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He is a senior scientist at the Research Institute of Oncology and Hematology, CancerCare Manitoba. Dr. Mowat received his PhD from the University of Alberta in 1979. His research primarily focuses on the genetics of breast cancer, drug resistance, and metastasis.
