Kerstin Roger's research focuses on chronic illness, including mental health; aging, including caregiving and family; and dying and end-of-life research. Dr. Roger has been a principal investigator on multi-site nationally funded research (e.g., PHAC, SSHRC, Movember, federal government) and has conducted provincial and regionally funded research (Prairie Action Foundation, MMSF). She has worked on national teams (CIHR funded) and international collaborations, and continues to co-author and engage graduate students in her research.
Kerstin Roger is a professor in community health sciences at the University of Manitoba. Her research focuses on chronic illness, aging, caregiving, and end-of-life studies. Dr. Roger has led various nationally funded research projects and collaborated on both national and international research initiatives. She actively engages with local not-for-profit community initiatives and mentors graduate students in her research projects.
