Biography

Dr. Casiano is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Manitoba and medical director for Adult Forensic Services.

She is certified through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Forensic Psychiatry.

Dr. Casiano is a past recipient of the Canadian Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (CAPL) Fellowship as well as the Rappaport Fellowship, provided by the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL).

Dr. Casiano provides clinical support to a number of programs, including Adult Forensic Services, Youth Forensic Services, The Knowles Centre, Youth Centralized Intake, Southern Health, and the StreetReach Program.
