Jennifer Protudjer, PhD

Dr. Jennifer Protudjer's research themes focus on the social, psychological and financial burden of food allergy, as well as associations between allergic disease and maternal-infant bonding. She employs a mixed-methods approach to fully examine the impact of allergic disease on the child, the family, and the community in which they live, and actively engages with families, schools, policy makers, and government to make meaningful change. She has a strong focus on pediatric allergy and is particularly interested in anaphylaxis and food allergy. Her research has been recognized by her peers and she is affiliated with several research groups including International Research Network on Transitions to Adulthood from Care (INTRAC), SPOR Evidence Alliance Research Network and Specialized Services for Children and Youth (SSCY) Research and Evaluation Committee.
