Biography

Shelley started with U of M in August 2019 after spending the previous thirty years in Calgary teaching and working at Mount Royal University. Shelley is enjoying the beautiful province of MB by exploring the many parks with her dog - Merllin. Her current physical activities include walking and hiking with her dog, dog agility with Merllin and golf in the summer, skating, snowshoeing, and hockey being a part of her winter life. 

Shelley’s teaching philosophy in one statement is to create a fun, positive, reflective, energetic environment that provides students with ways of knowing and understanding that will help them reach their fullest potential

Certified HeartMath Coach

Master of Science - Pedagogy, University of Calgary – developed a pen and paper instrument that can measure decision-making in a game of ice hockey.
