Request access to the DRAC systems and support
Any faculty member at a Canadian university is eligible to register and, once registered, can sponsor the students, research staff and collaborators working on their research projects.
Requirements
- A Faculty member of University of Manitoba must register in CCDB first in a Principal Investigator (PI) role
- The PI can sponsor his students, research staff and collaborators.
To access DRAC resources, register at the CCDB (the DRAC's user database) website

If you require additional support with requesting access, please create an IT ticket outlining your request.
Request consultation
Request consultation for DRAC systems
University of Manitoba is a Member of the Alliance and, as part of the Prairies DRI Group, a major Support site for the Alliance Federation. The Federation comprises of over 38 Canadian institution and over 200 research support and technical staff. A wide array of ARC experts, local, regional, and National, is available to assist our users in using the National ARC resources. Consultations are also available regarding The Alliance’s Resource Allocation Competitions (RAC) and grant support regarding user-contributed hardware to the Alliance systems.

Submit request for consultation for DRAC systems
To request consultation for DRAC systems, create a ticket in the Alliance support system by email to support@alliancecan.ca.
Report a problem
Report a problem with DRAC systems
Report a performance or access issue with National systems managed by the Alliance. Research Support staff members will review the problem and attempt to resolve issues or provide updates on systems outages.
Requirements
- Must have an active CCDB account in good standing (renewed, not blocked etc.).
Report a problem with DRAC systems to Alliance support
For system outage status, go to the Alliance Status page.
To report a problem, create a ticket in the Alliance support system by email to support@alliancecan.ca, and include the following information in your ticket:
- Name of the system
- Issue experienced:
- Slow performance; Description
- Unable to connect; Description
- Unable to access storage; Description
- Other issues; Description
