Conditions
- Permitted Uses: Academic teaching & learning, academic research (nonprofit), and administrative purposes (university business).
- Prohibited Uses: Commercial purposes (for profit) and non-academic research.
- Installation: An installed version of M365 (university subscription) is required prior to the license for Co-Pilot being activated.
- Data Types: Approved for public & confidential data within the Microsoft 365 platform.

How to request and purchase
- Faculty & Staff can Purchase licenses in EPIC
- Microsoft 365 software license (UM Intranet)
- Faculty and Staff will be required to complete and submit the University of Manitoba Microsoft Copilot for M365 Usage Guidelines form (PDF) prior to the Copilot license being applied to their account.
