Research description

My research explores engineering knowledge and identity. In particular, I'm interested in the ways that engineering interacts with other ways of knowing, doing, being, and making. My research interests include inter- and transdisciplinarity, art and technology, engineering and the humanities, and critical pedagogy.

Graduate Student Opportunities

Dr. Zacharias is currently seeking graduate students with an interest in engineering education research. Prospective students should review the information about the Graduate Specialization in Engineering Education available on the website of the Centre for Engineering Professional Practice and Engineering Education and contact her with a brief description of their research interest.
