Dotun Akinlade is a professional engineer with over 17 years of progressive experience in engineering, manufacturing leadership and operational excellence across multiple sectors, including transportation, precision machining, production planning, polymer manufacturing, construction, HVAC systems and power systems. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is passionate about continuous improvement, operational efficiency and developing effective, sustainable processes.

As an engineer-in-residence, Dotun Akinlade supports the Operational Excellence program in the Price Faculty of Engineering. This program provides industry projects that enable students and industry participants to collaborate on real-world challenges while developing valuable continuous improvement and Lean skills to prepare them for successful careers in industry.
